About the role

KOŚA is an enterprise-grade, GxP-compliant SaaS platform for the pharmaceutical industry, combining a Document Management System (DMS) and Learning Management System (LMS) on one regulated infrastructure — built to 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP 5 and ALCOA++ standards, with VEEVA Vault as the benchmark. We are looking for a senior engineer and technical lead to own end-to-end delivery: architecture, DevOps, GxP compliance, team leadership and roadmap execution.

What you will do

  • Own the overall system architecture — frontend, backend, database and infrastructure patterns the whole team follows
  • Lead the migration from Supabase Cloud + serverless Lambda to AWS EKS, RDS/Aurora (Multi-AZ) and ALB
  • Design multi-tenant isolation, RLS policy coverage and partitioning for 2,000+ concurrent users and 5-year regulated retention
  • Drive technical decisions on E-Logbooks, HR/ERP integration, Market Complaint, E-BMRs, QMS, VLM and LLM/AI modules
  • Write and maintain Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts and GitLab CI/CD pipelines; operate EKS, RDS with PgBouncer, WAF, Shield and CloudWatch
  • Act as technical owner of GxP compliance: 21 CFR Part 11 §11.10 self-assessment, audit trail completeness and the electronic signature module
  • Break the 3-year roadmap into quarterly milestones and sprints; run planning, standups, retrospectives and release reviews
  • Lead, mentor and grow a team of mid-level developers, juniors and interns, and run technical interviews

What we are looking for

  • 7+ years full stack development, with at least 2 years as tech lead or principal engineer
  • Expert React 18 / TypeScript and Node.js/Express — able to set architecture, not just follow it
  • Deep PostgreSQL: schema design, query plans, RLS, partitioning and connection pooling (PgBouncer / RDS Proxy)
  • Production AWS: EKS/Kubernetes, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, S3, KMS, CloudWatch, WAF
  • Hands-on Kubernetes: manifests, Helm charts, ingress, scaling policies and CI/CD deployment
  • Strong Redis and caching architecture knowledge (TTL strategy, eviction, invalidation)
  • Regulated or compliance-critical software experience (GxP, HIPAA, ISO 13485) highly preferred
  • B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech in CSE, IT or equivalent; AWS or CKA certifications a plus
